Macy’s Thanksgiving Announcement

Thanksgiving at Macy’s will be different this year.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be broadcasted for all of America to enjoy from their homes.  This cherished American tradition will feature many of the floats, balloons, and entertainers that viewers have come to love.

Macy’s stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.  We know that many of our customers enjoy visiting their local Macy’s store on Thanksgiving evening.  This year, we encourage customers to shop with us on macys.com and through the Macy’s mobile app where they will find all of our Black Friday deals.  To help customers get a head start on holiday shopping and spread joy this holiday season, we will be unveiling our biggest holiday deals with some of the best brands, earlier than ever.   We will be sharing local store hours and fulfillment options closer to the Holiday.

On November 27, our stores will be open to our customers who shop in-store as well as use our expanded fulfillment options including contactless curbside pick-up, buy online pick-up in store and same day delivery. During the holiday season, we will continue with our enhanced health and safety standards including additional cleaning in each store during open hours, occupancy checks to anticipate and mitigate crowds, sanitation stations throughout our stores, company issued protective wear for our store colleagues, and extended store hours.

During the holidays, America comes to Macy’s for gifting, for value and for celebration, and we are committed to delivering all three in this unprecedented year.
