Tom Edwards was appointed Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Macy’s, Inc. on June 22, 2025. Edwards is responsible for a range of financial and operational functions at Macy’s, Inc., including technology, supply chain, call centers and finance. He leads the simplification and modernization of operations to enhance value for Macy’s, Inc. customers and shareholders as part of the Company’s Bold New Chapter strategy.
Edwards is an accomplished leader with deep financial knowledge and operational acumen from nearly 40 years in the retail, consumer goods and hospitality industries. Prior to joining Macy’s, Inc., Edwards was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Capri Holdings Limited, where he spearheaded the acquisition and integration of Versace and Jimmy Choo, implemented a global ERP platform and achieved significant savings across brands, functions, and regions.
Before joining Capri, Edwards was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Chili’s owner Brinker International, Inc., and has held numerous finance and operations positions at Wyndham Hotel Group, Kraft Foods and Nabisco.
Tom holds both a bachelor’s degree in economics and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School.
