NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The path to personal reinvention officially begins today as Macy's announces eight contestants who will vie for a chance to win "Macy's Million Dollar Makeover with Clinton Kelly." They will compete for America's affection and a chance to win the ultimate prize: $1 million worth of products, services, cash and experiences that will transform the winner's life.

"With eight inspiring contestants, it is an enormous challenge and honor to help reshape their personal style in preparation for Americans to vote for their favorite contestant as the ultimate winner. Applying a blend of fashion expertise, style secrets and self-confidence counseling, I will have these men and women shining as brightly as the stars I know they can become."

The contestants with the most votes each week will continue to the semi-finals in April.
